They insured my Citroen van for social, domestic and pleasure, although I used it to collect stock from the cash and carry for my wifes business, but as the goods were in effect my personal property there was no loading on the policy.As for his age, don`t know what they would charge, but try them at the end of the month when they are trying to make their bonuses, you`ll get a good deal.

i'm looking for the cheapest business insurance i can find to use as a van parcel courier. i expect to cover around 50 thousand miles p year. i have been quoted by one company at £2625 fully comp per year. (yes i nearly fell of my chair) and £1283 by milestone insurance (fully comp) This sounds an incredible amount for insurance, is there a cheaper way?

A: I work for an Insurance Brokers and those prices sound about right to me. Premiums for Courier insurance are normally quite high. You can go TPFT if you want to for a cheaper premium but remember if you cause an accident it will not cover repair to your vehicle. Do you really want to be left with large repair costs and no vehicle if your a courier? No. Try a company called FM Green or Tradex. Just type the names in to Google and you can get a quote and advice online.
