Q: does anyone know what a motorcycle insurance quote would be for a 17 year old?
2008 1200 nightster is the bike. clean license.
A: Way too much for that age on that bike at your age you will have to go with an under writer Insurance for sure. But who the hell or how the hell dose a 17 year old get in to a bike like that you joining the military or is Mom and dad paying the bill?
Good luck and enjoy your bike.
Q: What would be a good price quote for motorcycle insurance SR-22?
I baught a motorcycle about a month ago and got it running last weekend. I only paid $400 for it. I need SR-22 insurance to get my license back and was wondering what is fair to pay for such insurance on a motorcycle worth no more than $400.
A: an sr-22 will give you no coverage for your bike, so the value of the bike isnt even relevent.
what will make a difference is your gender, age, location and driving record.
dont expect it to be cheap.
Q: Motorcycle insurance quote?
can you get a quote without entering a social security number? i dont want to give it out
A: yes the company I work for I do Not need you to give me your social but when I hit the get credit report which gives me an insurance credit score not your fico score. At this point your ss number comes up and all but the last four are blocked and can not be retrieved, but if you want your identity toatally secure you are screwd everything is on the net if you know where to look purchase an identity theft option with your homeowners or auto policy if it is offered.
Q: Who should a check out for a decent Motorcycle insurance quote?
I have called around. And I k ow they are expensive to insure, but I have got some ridiculous quotes so far for my 08' hayabusa. Anyone have any ideas?
No its not my first bike. I had gsx-r's before. A 750 and a 1000. But I also lived in Virginia then. I had Geico then but Im in Michigan now, and Geico doesnt insure motorcycles here.
Another thing.....it must be ridiculous to insure the busa then, becaause I did check with progressive online and they quoted me 230 a month
A: I have State Farm and it's pretty cheap. I also have 4 cars and a house through them and got many discounts.
You bought a bike before checking this? Is this your first bike? An 08 Hayabusa?
If it is your first bike, call your life insurance agent and get your will in order.
Q: Who will give the cheapest insurance-quote for my motorcycle?
Hi everyone ... i have a 99 zx6r ninja ..m 24 . live in herts.. using the bike occasionally...i need the cheapest option
UK companies pls

Q: are there any motorcycle insurance sites that i can get a quote without having reg details?
ive been thinking about a couple of different makes and models without actually having one lined up to buy. at least if i knew a ruff qoute i can start eliminating bikes.
A: generally you should just call up your local insurance agencies and ask for the quote for a 600cc or 1000cc and roughly sportbike or cruiser. There is very little to no difference in the quote from bike manufacturer to manufacturer. they only look at whether its a sportbike or a cruiser and what engine size.
Q: Insurance quote on motorcycle for a 16 yo?
I am 16, living in CA, 91364. I don't have had any insurance on cars nor bikes. And i haven't bought my bike yet since I need the insurance first. I'm planning to purchase a Kawasaki Ninja 250r. (Standard coverage both on me n bike in case of collision) (I have a 4.0 GPA. Doing great school.) and I have passed a 30 hour Drivers Ed. ( <-- incase it helps to reduce the annual charges on my insurance.) So basically I would like to know about how much I would (under my parents name of course) need to pay for the first couple of years, each month?
A: I recommend an online insurance quote. It's free and generally hassle free. http://www.easyautoinsuranceguide.com
Good Luck!
Q: Motorcycle insurance?
I am getting a motorcycle for my 16th birthday and i have a question about insurance.
My parents have State Farm, but they are ridiculously expensive with motorcycles. I got a good quote from Progressive, so i think im going with them.
What i need to know is; Would i be insured to drive my parents van? or would i have to pay separate insurance? I will need to drive it sometimes, as i am a musician who has equipment to haul sometimes. But the bike will be my main ride.
Thanks

Q: What is the cost of motorcycle insurance?
I currently am looking into buying a yamaha v-star 650cc. I have been to the progressive website, but i do not wish to grant them access to pull my credit profile (just dont think its neccessary for quoting insurance). So now i am asking everyone. I will be 25 in August, I am married, and have an excellent driving record. Does anyone have an estimate price for full coverage insurance for Louisiana. Thanks.
A: I pay $125/ yr. for my 2006 Sportster 883
Q: Question about motorcycle insurance in the UK?
I just got a quote for the motorcycle I intend buying when I pass my test. Seemed a bit excessive at almost £900. I'm 23 and have ridden a 125 for a year with no claims. The bike is insurance group 13.
My question: Does the fact I don't have a full license yet and haven't bought the bike affect insurance quotes?
I will have a full license by the time I actually get insured, I'm just doing a bit of forward planning.
And I've used a few comparison sites to get the quotes.
A: Because you don't have a full license then this will certainly be reflected in the high premium costs. Like with cars, beginners are deemed high risk and therefore charged more. The premiums will come down when you have ridden for a few more years (without claims) and have achieved your full license. Also where you live and store the bike effects the premium amount.
If you can't afford full insurance then go for 3rd party (this depends on what your license requirements are so check first). If you are caught by the police without insurance then your motorcycle can be legally seized.
Q: if i research insurance quotes will my current provider be informed?
I have two speeding tickets on my record that i would rather not have flagged for my insurance company, as they have not audited me yet for it.... but i want to look up quotes on motorcycle insurance! will my insurance provider be notified if i start looking for motorcycle insurance on otherwebsites like gieko and progressive? im just looking for ballpark estimates.... not looking for a set rate
A: Your current insurance will not be informed that you are researching other insurance quotes and/or discover your speeding tickets from that process. Your insurance company will probably discover your speeding tickets about 60 days before your renewal (most insurance companies do this). If you are currently insured by a standard company, it is very likely that your insurance will be cancelled at that time or you will at least have a large rate increase.
In terms of some of the other comments regarding credit, neither of the comments are correct. Insurance companies pull what is called an insurance score which is a numerical formula based on your credit. However, it is not a credit report. The insurance company does not use this to determine if you are insurance "worthy" or to determine your payment plan. According to actuarial science the better insurance scores translate to the better risks and the more impaired scores translate into higher risk profiles. Stated another way--on average clients who have impaired insurance scores produce more claims. Therefore the insurance companies use the insurance scores as one of the factors (other factors would be your driving record, accident record, mileage, type of car, etc.) that allow them to adequately price the risk to produce a profit.
I hope this helps. Good Luck!
Q: Motorcycle Insurance..?? Who is really reasonable1st Time Rider?

Somebody hit me up>> thanks
I'm a student, and I've received one speeding ticket within the last five years. My record is pretty clean. Looking for full coverage. who is your insurance company?
A: Shop around. Progressive seems to be pretty good for young riders.
Insurance for men under age 27 is pretty high everywhere, though.
Q: Where is the cheapest place to get motorcycle insurance?
I am 21 have a clean driving record and have a motorcycle permit. I got a quote of $30 a month that's with comprehensive with a deductible of $100. Is this probably as cheap as I can get?
A: I have an old beat up r6. I got a quote from Gieco. 1 year just liability was over 700. I called my local insurance office, they hooked me up with Dairyland insurance. I now pay 180 a year. I'm 28 with a clean record.
Q: Motorcycle insurance in ontario?
How much would Motorcycle insurance be for 16 year old male liveing in Ontario? I was thinking of getting an older ninja between the years of 1987 - 96. Just wondering how much it would be around . I tried an insurance quote online, but it didnt really turn out right. Thanks
A: It will depend a lot on the displacement of that Ninja and where in Ontario you live but I'll tell you now that it will be E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E, if any of the insurance companies even take you on that is.. If you attend a riding school, most companies will at least give you the equivalent of one year's riding experience so look into if one of your local colleges' offers a weekend course.
